Fulterius King
Fulterius King is an Author, Poet, and Licensed Mental Health Therapist dedicated to empowering Black men and boys through the transformative power of poetry. His upcoming book, A Book of Poems for Black Kings, is available for preorder and set to release on February 3, 2025.Fulterius earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Georgia State University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida. With over eight years of experience in diverse mental health settings, he specializes in assisting adolescents and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, and challenging life transitions. He is licensed to practice in both Georgia and Florida.Fulterius is deeply passionate about making quality mental health services accessible to Black men and boys. Understanding the need for culturally relevant resources, he was inspired to create a collection of poetry that empower Black males and enrich their unique healing journeys.Drawing from his solid foundation in mental health, Fulterius weaves his clinical insights into poetry, creating a bridge between mental health and artistic expression.
